William is a nine year old boy with big ideas and a naughtily inventive older brother Mick. The two of them get up to all sorts of mischief around the city, often times unnoticed by their divorced parents.

This is a warm and funny ‘slice of life’ novel about two city kids with lots of imagination. Hermine Langvreugd writes with great empathy and refuses to judge her characters’ sometimes dubious and often hilarious behaviour.
